Glen Feshie (Estate Check)
  • Notes: The Feshie is one of the clear torrents that come down from the Cairngorm Mountains to join the River Spey. According to "Our Scottish District Checks" (E S Harrison 1968) it was designed by the wife of the then owner who 'was disturbed because she had no tartan, so she designed the plaid which Mr Ellice and the gillies and keepers wore from that time to this present date (1968).
